Well, show's over. It went well. It's bittersweet. I'll miss all my friends, but I'm kinda glad it's over. I can focus on AP Euro now. The test in on Friday and I'm a little worried. I'll shoot for a 5, hope for a 4, and probably get a 3. Ah, well.

I'm pissed. Last week was the first week of Hell Fortnight. That's what makes me hate the theater. Show opens this week. It's bittersweet. My last show, but it'll finally be over.
Deviantart took down a bunch of my things for "art theft." If that was art theft, then about half of the site should be taken down. It was probably that bitch from before.
AP testing is nigh. Enough said.
I'm working on scholarships. I'd rather be watching Doctor Who.
*sigh* you probably won't hear from me again until the show's over.

I'm back from vacation! I wasn't too enthused about coming home just yet. It was nice and warm in California!
Visited with my 98 year old grandfather who is kind of giving up on life. He's deaf as a post from working at the shipyard for many years, so conversation isn't really possible. Also visited with my aunt and uncle and that was nice.
Visited my BFF, but she's not on spring break so we didn't get to visit as long as we would have liked. I miss her a lot.
Went to the California Academy of Sciences. That was a big disappointment. I didn't learn very much at all. Guest control was abysmal. No flow to the exhibits, you just kind of wandered where ever you liked. Lots on little, little kids. Too young to be at a museum. It wasn't geared toward children. The guests were very rude. It claims to be environmentally friendly, but it really isn't. Mom and I are planning a letter of complaint.
We were touristy around Sonoma and we went to the Jack London State Park. That was nice. We took the scenic route through Napa Valley one day. So pretty! Also went thrifting and antiquing one day. Hardly found anything. We usually do so well! We ate lunch and a deli called Traverso's. It was so good!
One day, we stopped along the side of the road to say hello to some lovely Clydesdales.
One sneezed and got horse boogers all over me.
We stayed with my auntie and uncle the whole time. They're great! We always have fun with them! It was a pity they couldn't get any time off work.
I got me some red hi-top Converse!
Woot!
I really don't want to go back to school tomorrow. We're supposed to be off script, but that just ain't gonna happen. I leave on Thursday for SkillsUSA state. Three days of dressing and acting like a professional. Fun.

Ta-da! I got the part I wanted in the show! So did ~audiemay!
The Black History Month show yesterday went okay. No one was really into it, but people complimented audiemay and me on our signing.
We had a dusting of snow today and they called a 2-hour delay. What a waste.

jubilant
So, opening night was yesterday. The four of us girls nearly had heart attacks! My "husband," ~Pantophobia4, wasn't there when we got there (he's almost always early) and all we heard was he'd been in a car accident. We were like, "
OMG, NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Then the director told us that he was okay. *phew* Someone ran a red light and hit him. Red means stop, moron!
Other than that, it went well... except the few people in the audience that laughed during the serious parts...
I woke up late last night with a terrible Charlie Horse in my left calf. It's been sore all day. Hopefully it'll feel better now that I've taken some Aleve.
Here's to broken femurs and small rooms with cake! Let's hope tonight goes as well as last night did!

They don't call it "Hell Week" for nothing. Ugh! The lead actress didn't show yesterday. The director was pissed, to say the least. We actors took the brunt of it even though we were actually over an hour early. Poor ~audiemay nearly died when the director said she'd have to take the part if the missing actress wasn't there for show. Audiemay did the best she could filling in, but it's hard when the actual actor isn't there.
And I caught a cold from my mom. A week before show. I hope it clears up fast because it's draining my energy and has sucked me into a semi-emotionless stupor.
Things to do this weekend:
STUDY LINES!
Come up with and draw a character for animation
Do AP Euro homework
Work on stuff for Studio Art
Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep...

I've been busy the last couple of weeks.
My cousin, his girlfriend and their 10-month-old baby were here for a visit. For some reason, I have a dislike (almost a fear) of children who are not old enough to talk. The poor baby had a cold and was teething... I like my cousin and everything, but it just wasn't a comfortable visit for me.
Went over to ~audiemay's house on Monday. Had a fun time randomly commentating on POTO.
Rehearsals have started for me! I get to be bitchy and no one cares!
AP Studio Art is kicking my butt again. Self-portraits. There are very few people I enjoy large picture of (one of them is Johnny Depp), but not myself. Originally, I was going to be lurking under some stairs, but that didn't work out, so now I'm on top of a barricade waving a big red flag! Can you tell that Les Miserables is my inspiration for this piece?
Ooh! And Mom picked up Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but I think I'll save that for the weekend...
OMG! This week's House rocked my socks! House and Wilson are buddies again! Yay!
- Mood:

Well, I got the part of Mrs. Montague in The Haunting of Hill House, but I'm very sad because ~audiemay didn't get a part. I'm all alone!
On the bright side, I don't have to go to rehearsal for two weeks because I don't enter until the second act. I get to yell at 6'7" Pantophobia and that'll be pretty fun!
I finally (after a year) finished knitting Piggy. She's so cute! I might post a pic later... maybe...
Still sniffly. Didn't go an see Grandpa today 'cuz I don't want to get him sick. I should be doing homework...
- Mood:
sad
As the night wears on, I am more and more convinced that I have acquired ~audiemay's cold. Oh, well.
Auditioned for The Haunting of Hill House today. It took forever! However, the director did say she wanted to see me at callbacks on Wednesday.
Not much else of interest in my post-Phantom week. Decided on a theme for my Studio Art concentration: different kinds of love. Yeah. That's about it...

I should be doing my Spanish project on the Perons... but I'm bored with them.
Sold some stupid candy leis at
sxechiru and ~lukesky321's graduation. Chiru looked pretty in her outfit, but I didn't see Lukesky.
By the time the ceremony started, I was done with being there and people in general. I peeked through the doors before I left sent them my best thoughts. School is so lonely without the seniors.
I changed my schedule for next year. I'm taking AP Studio Art
! My calligraphy teacher said I should. I'm excited because ~les-ailes is going to be in there, too! Only thing is, there's a butt-load of summer work.
Oh, well.
I decided against taking AP Spanish Lit. I didn't feel prepared for the AP Spanish test this year and it's taught by the same teacher. I talked it out with my parents and Dad summed it up best by saying, "Who really gives a damn about Spanish literature, anyway?"
(No offense to and Spanish people out there.
) It conflicted with Theater Production and I was NOT about to give that up. The theater is where I'm free to be myself!
So, it's father's day tomorrow and we're going up to celebrate with Grandpa.
On Tuesday, my Auntie is coming up for a visit. Hopefully, that'll give Mom some time to relax.
Next week's the last week of school and I don't really have any finals. Did the ASL one, did the Spanish one, did the Physics one yesterday, doing the creative writing one tomorrow, did the APUSH one, did the Drama II one, and not having a calligraphy one.

Did Addict today.
Four times.
Wanted the fecking shank the audience.
They laughed.
It's not a funny show.
It's totally serious.
And they laughed.
WTF, man!
Either way,
sxechirudid a very good job, even if the feckers laughed during her part.
I forgot to come on for one part, but no biggie.
Poor Pantophobia4. He plays a guard who is "beaten up" by a heroine addict going through withdrawal. Only problem is, the addict plays rough. Pantophobia4's elbow is swollen and he has some "stage burn."
All I have to say is, "It looked better on paper." and "I hope we touched some people's lives today."

Awww... for all the complaining I did about it, I'm going to miss hanging out with the drama geeks after school all the time.
The cast party was awesome!
We had some good laughs.
Damn. I've got and ASL book report to work on. It's so BORING! That and my play.
One of my friends had her dog stolen. It was found on the freeway in the middle of rush hour. He'd been hit by a car, but as far as I know, he's doing okay.
My bestest best friend in the world had to put her dog to sleep. He had really advanced cancer. They didn't even know he had it. He just randomly collapsed one day and they took him to the vet and did and MRI. It had metastasized to his brain. Poor guy. He was a true gentleman. I heard him bark maybe once or twice in all his eight years. All you had to say was "excuse me" and he'd get out of your way and look really apologetic. He never licked himself or sniffed you in awkward places. He was wonderful and he will be greatly missed.
RIP Oliver: Mr. Darcy in a golden retriever's body

Tonight's opening night for The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood. It's nice to be finally opening, but I'm going to miss hanging out with
On Monday, we've got our first time in the pool with the ROV robots. I think mine is epic fail. My partner is blind. Tomorrow's our last day to make any adjustments before Monday and we're still not neutrally bouyant. So, what does she ask me today? "Do you think you can do this by yourself tomorrow? I'm going to work on some pottery?"
Gee, thanks. And she's not going to be there on Monday, so I'll have to get a substitute partner to feed the tether.
On Tuesday, we open Addict (you know, the show in which I'm a teacher, a mom and background PCP flasher

Well, had a nice dinner at
spyderchan's house on Sunday. Played DDR for the first time in my life. I suck pretty badly.
Monday I got up for zero period only to find that my teacher wasn't there and the district didn't get a sub for her.
I spent the hour in the library working on random stuff. In Physics, I worked on my ROV alone because my partner wasn't there. Wiring sucks. I hate little copper wires. They hurt my fingers.
Had the first of the Pre-Hell Week rehearsals on Monday as well. All that can be said for that is *headdesk*.
Today, we started research for a Spanish project I really don't want to do. I'm going to cop out and do it on the Perons. I've done reports on them before so it should be easy. Did MORE wiring on the ROV, but my partner was there so that helped. We start construction tomorrow.
Had my one-act play (still unfinished) read by the class. Some parts didn't come across well and I can't do math so I have to do a bit of rewriting.
Finished up my superhero project in APUSH. That was fun.
I'm getting fed up with drama. It's so dramatic.
Calligraphy is okay for now. We've got a letter project. I chose the letter M. I ended up writing words that start with M as opposed to just the letter and I have to check with the teacher to make sure that's okay.
sxechiru was feeling crummy and that wasn't good. We Merry Men got our wooden spoons today and spent the entire rehearsal "spooning" each other.
Other than that it was "meh."
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall day I've been looking forward to watching the season finale of House MD (which I taped from last night). It was so sad!
The one distracting thing was Robert Sean Leonard's eye. Ever since I found out he has strabismus too, that's all I can focus on... I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT SEASON!!!

*is freaking out* I have my first ever AP test tomorrow. AP Spanish Language. I'm not confident at all. I got 51% on my final. FAIL! However, I did talk to a former student and she said that 51% ought to get me a 4 or a 5 on the actual test. I"m so freaked out it's not even funny. I should probably be watching a movie in Spanish, but I don't know if I can handle even that.
I figure I'm looking at a 3 on the APUSH test. I do fairly well on multiple choice, but EPIC FAIL at essays. Not. Good.
We might do a play in Drama II about addictions. It's heavy stuff and it's a little uncomfortable, but I think we need to do a serious play.
Yeah.
I think I might go pop a movie in and watch some Spanish...
i am so screwed...

School was kinda blah today. All the seniors were gone for 2nd and 3rd period because of a class meeting and the mock crash.
~YasumiChan tried to teach me to draw in calligraphy today. I ended up with Voldemort in a dress and a punk-rocker elf girl. Maybe I'll scan them later...
Play rehearsal ticked me off. People audition then don't show up ever again and then they blame the director for not telling them to show up. Then the director gets cranky at everyone. It's you own responsibility to find out when reherasal is, ya stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder!
I got accidentally elbowed in the head by a guy during the "fighting over Twinkies" scene. Now my jaw hurts.
I'm gonna go eat more flavored sugar in a paper tube... that's pixy stix to you normal people...

The weather was pretty crazy today. In the span of ten minutes it rained, hailed, snowed, and snailed. Yes, snailed. It's a term I coined in AP Spanish today when it was precipitating outside.
Snail (n): a combination of snow and hail
~audiemay just about had a fit! We were laughing so hard!

I made a picture to go with it on i can has cheezburger .

Wednesday was okay. I didn't get call backs so that meant I was either solidly in or solidly out. I was beweeping my concerns to ~audiemay when the director walked by. She said, "Oh, don't worry! You were too good to cut." So I thought, "Score!
I've got a big part!" ~audiemay was panicking because she did get call backs and was up against one of the toughest actresses in the school for a part. The rest of the day was nothing important.
So I trot into school this morning and look at the cast list. ~audiemay got that part she wanted!
And I was ... drum-roll please... an unnamed Merry Man.
Yeah. I was less than enthused. It kind of put me in a bad mood the rest of the day.
Well, it turned out later that another girl was pissed about being cast as a Merry (Wo)man and dropped out so now I have a name. I'm Donna the Merry (Wo)man and speak like Ben Stein... that is to say, bereft enthusiasm or emotion.
I've decided to make the most of the part and enjoy being with people I like. Yay for

! Unfortunatley
didn't get in.
Blah. I'm tired and my jaw hurts... I think I'll go make some chocolate milk.

Got about a minute away from the house and realized I'd forgotten an important folder. Made Dad turn around so I could go get it. I could tell it wasn't going to be a good day.
Spanish and Physics were a blur. Spanish a blur of boredom and physics a blur of waves and confusion. Creative writing was interesting. I wrote a poem from a sheep's perspective.
Apparently I suck at thesises (thesi?)... I'm totally screwed on that APUSH test.
Drama was okay. Nothing special apart from the big thingy falling over.
Calligraphy was okay.
Auditioned after school for the upcoming play with ~audiemay. ~lukesky321 was there too. I did well, but I don't think I'll get a big part...
Gonna enter the Tales of Beadle the Bard Contest on Amazon. Maybe tomorrow...

Had to get up for ASL today, but not he rest of the week because of stupid state mandated testing. Blah.
Had a sub in AP Spanish. "A" and I had a doodle fight.
Physics was "meh."
Creative writing was "meh."
APUSH was pretty bad. Scored 10/30 on a surprise dates quiz that I knew was coming eventually and didn't study for. *hits self on forehead repeatedly and says "idiot" with each percussive blow*
Drama was interesting. We ran through the shows speaking gibberish the whole time. Funny things ensued.
Calligraphy was okay. I drew the worst Captain Jack Sparrow I've ever draw on my project and there's no turning back. *sigh*
The I had to do some volunteering. I helped do some set up for the aforementioned testing and subsequently have no fingerprints left on my right thumb, index, and middle fingers from the accursed duct tape.
Then I had an appointment with my normal dentist and boy does he piss me off. He says the exact same thing every time I go in there! "This is how the joint works, it's like your knee. This is what's wrong with it. This is how the appliance (which I have to were all the time now
Auditioning for the next play tomorrow... maybe... *sulk*
Watched The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant last night. Was really good. Not enough Jack Davenport in it though. There's this one part where he rugby tackles Mary to protect her from some red coats and I'm all, "Oh, to be her right now..."
Yeah... that's about it. And Johnny Depp believes in goats. A foreign reporter once asked him if he believed in goats and he said, "Yes, more and more everyday."
